For Maisie (performing as Mai’B), it started in the basement of her childhood home. Turntables spinning. Records stacked high. A voice from upstairs calling down to turn it down, and the volume only rising in response.

That early imprint never left. It evolved into a practice of searching through crates, through time, through the quiet persistence of sound. Old records become fragments, each groove holding something unresolved, something still alive, waiting to be heard again.
