Harbouring Life is part of the Ramsgate Festival of Sound and is a collaboration between Project MotorHouse and Ramsgate Radio and is supported by Kent County Council Reconnect. This year the theme of the festival is Tales from the Sea and in keeping with that theme, we have taken photographs of and collected stories from people who use Ramsgate’s beautiful Georgian harbour. The portraits were taken by Project MotorHouse’s young photographers aged 14 to 16 under the guidance of professional photographer Tim Topple. Ryan Richards of Ramsgate Radio helped the young people record the stories and the editing is by Filipe Gomes.
